Following on from my last blog I’d like to expand on why I choose to follow and be involved in the business of Inner Origin.

All ingredients and products must be sourced from farms which are ethically managed, including using environmentally sustainable farming practises.  When reading online or on the packaging you’ll notice that all of the ingredients are recognisable and shown what country the ingredients originate.

Even if you are looking for organic and natural foods you’ll find it on the platform.  Even the CBD oil is organic.  Same as the organic wine.

Inner Origin business model

I enjoy the support I receive from the company and other Advocates of the business.  We have flexibility in how we grow our individual advocate businesses.  However, usual business rules do apply.  If you choose to be interested in where you can take this business yourself I’d really like to talk with you. If this business suits you you can grow it either in your own township or City, or even over the internet via social media.

Why I’m affiliated with Inner Origin

Back in March of 1993 my ophthalmologist told me I was losing my sight due to a genetic and hereditary condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa.  In short, my retinas were dying.  At the time I had a drivers license and forklift ticket.  I had worked in a wreckers, service station, motorcycle centre and warehousing. 

Within two to three years of my diagnosis life began to change.  The colours on the television were changing to pastels.  Driving became more difficult.  Reading the newspaper was a chore.  Even walking about was an interesting experience.  I had difficulty gaining a full time job due to the fact I couldn’t read efficiently and make use of the forklift ticket I had.

So, some years later I moved to Brisbane and was introduced to computers. I knew I would have to engage online sometime and this helped a great deal as.  I learned to use the computer  with little to no sight.  Now, I have plenty of technology around me and a program on my computer called JAWS (Job Access With Speech) which converts the text to speech for me and allows me to conduct business and work at home.

I applied for many jobs in the early 2000’s.  However, due to my sight impairment  and limited understanding of navigating the computer I was declined.   I was introduced to a home based business in 2003 and joined a business club here in Brisbane all those years ago At a round table event I was directed to create my own telemarketing service.  This I did and am still doing it right now!  This wasn’t my plan when I was younger as I wanted to get a number of machinery tickets and use them to travel and work.

So although it is easy to plan, you can’t predict!

Today, my sight is limited to the point where I need to use a white cane to walk about independently.  I require assistance to purchase my groceries when I go shopping.  I can’t drive, or ride a bicycle.

To keep myself fit I do Karate, and have done for the last ten and half years since returning from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro back in March of 2009.  My girlfriend and I walk up and down Mt Coot-Tha a few times a month when time permits.  I still telemarket for a commercial cleaning company, and with the assistance of a Virtual Assistant I manage the website Groceries for Health, which is affiliated with Inner Origin.

You may ask what attracted me to Inner Origin?

I’ve been involved in several home based businesses over the past 17 years.  Early in my business career it was mainly skin care and supplements.  I eventually realised they weren’t the right fit for me. 

Inner Origin initially attracted my attention as they support Australian and New Zealand businesses to market their products to the general public.  Now, we’re expanding to the United States to introduce them to the same philosophy.    

The Product Advisory Board (PAB) is an important part of the IO business model.  Their role is to critically look at all the ingredients and  where they’re sourced.  They ensure ethical farming practices are adhered to.  Approved products have no GMO or petrochemicals in them.  You are able to read where the ingredients come from and also understand what the ingredients are.  You won’t find any confusing numbers included on the ingredient list.  

Inner Origin also offers a price match guarantee so the price on the Inner Origin platform is equivalent to the price on the merchants website.  Please keep in mind that retail stores have their own pricing systems and the prices may vary either way!

The postal delivery cost hasn’t changed in this time and is still $12.95 no matter the size of the order right across Australia and New Zealand.

A little Inner Origin history

Inner Origin launched in Australia in November 2016.  I joined in February 2017 and have enjoyed the experience.  In 2018 Inner Origin expanded to New Zealand and at present IO is pre-launching into the United States which is very exciting.

Your breakfast isn’t really much of a breakfast unless it contains Avocados.

Yes, Avocados have taken over the breakfast table substituting the less healthy option that is bacon. Bacon contains unhealthy trans-fat along with saturated fats.
